Have a look at this 8-minute report about ESA's plans for the evolution of the Automated Transfer Vehicle. Philippe Berthe, EADS Astrium's Head of Advanced Projects who features in it is another person I know through the International Space University - a great institution, IMHO. Whether ESA's plans will come to fruition, we will have to wait and see. A lot will depend on decisions taken next month at the ESA Ministerial meeting.Incidentally, I found the link to the report on Hyperbola, a very good space blog by UK journalist Rob Coppinger. Rob has put a number of reports from the IAC on his blog as well. Highly recommended.
